Glenwood Place property of the
year 2007
 Glenwood Place opened in July, 2000 with 39 apartments. In 2007
the community was expanded with an additional 9 apartments to meet the needs of
the Marshalltown and surrounding areas we serve. Glenwood Place's 46 apartments
also include 10 Closer Care apartments for residents with an Alzheimer's or a
dementia diagnosis in a secured and safe environment.
In September of
2009 Glenwood Place completed an expansion to our dining room in order to
enhance the restaurant style dining experience for each of our residents and
guests. It features two fireplaces and a warm, relaxing environment for all to
enjoy, while providing a spacious, comfortable area to entertain family and
friends.

What's Happening
-- Glenwood place is Celebrating National Assisted Living Week September 12th - 18th. Some of the activities include:
- Grandparents day BBQ on the 12th.
- Alzheimer's Support group on the 14th at 5:30 for families affected by Alzheimer's Disease
- A formal prime rib lunch on Wednesday on the 15th
- Join us at the newly renovated Orpheum in downtown Marshalltown for North to Alaska at 7:00 PM on Thursday the 16th.
